Marketing Coordinator

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Marketing, this newly created role will work closely with the corporate marketing team to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies designed to drive business objectives and targets. This role is responsible for assisting and supporting all B2C and B2B marketing campaigns, projects and events for the Loan Market Group.  The successful applicant will bring a positive, upbeat, professional and proactive approach to their work.  We are looking for a polished communicator and someone who can juggle competing priorities without getting overwhelmed by the dynamic environment which we work. 

Key Responsibilities:

Broker Support, Activity, Brand and Relationship Management

  • Assist in actioning requests from the marketing inbox; brokers, state teams and network, providing timely acknowledgment, support, and resolution of requests.
  • Coordinate marketing requests, workflow and prepare design briefs in a timely manner
  • Execute integrated marketing initiatives through channels including print advertising, digital media, sponsorship, website, events and email
  • Assist in preparation of reports and presentations on conversion metrics and growth
  • Update digital CRM system with marketing collateral
  • Report and analyse brand, customer and competitor marketing insights and data
  • Assist in developing marketing campaigns, collateral and advertising that is compelling and on brand
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and compliance standards to ensure consistency of materials is maintained
  • Contribute ideas to the overall marketing plan as a key member of the team
  • Work with management on brand refresh and customer journey segmentation
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies that grow brand awareness, engagement and acquisition
  • Effective support of marketing team projects and requests
  • Create tools and marketing templates to support brand development
  • Coordinate and track marketing spend to given budgets and deadlines
  • Effective stakeholder collaboration and management
  • Efficient and timely resolution of internal requests
  • Work closely with designers and stakeholders from artwork concept to completion stage

General support

  • Manage printers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Establish and maintain effective filing systems for all campaigns and results
  • Attend to ad-hoc administration duties to assist the wider marketing team

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally 3+ years client or agency side
  • Knowledge and experience executing marketing strategies across all mediums
  • Experience assisting in the development of B2C and B2B marketing campaigns and collateral
  • Digital marketing experience (SEO, PPC, Display and Retargeting)
  • Proven communication skills
  • Experience analysing data and results
  • Ability to coordinate and manage multiple stakeholders and understand their needs
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrate strong written communication skills
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - outstanding level of customer service
  • High level of organisational skills, time management and deadline driven

  • Understanding of digital marketing principals (SEO, SEM, Social)
  • Proactive approach to learning and growth
  • Marketing or Communications degree equivalent

Desirable but not essential:

  • Experience within financial and property sectors
