Position Description - Community Engagement Manager Share Tomorrow Foundation 

Reporting to Chief People Officer/ Chair of Share Tomorrow Foundation

This is a Part time role (approx 2-3 days per week, but can be flexible hours throughout the year to accommodate employees other responsibilities)

The Share Tomorrow Foundation is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Corporate Foundation Engagement Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in fostering strong relationships with our charity partners, our donors (brokers & staff) across Australia and NZ, ensuring their philanthropic goals align with our mission to support mental health and domestic violence initiatives.   You'll be at the forefront of our commitment to local communities, driving initiatives that empower individuals and organisations.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is very driven and able to work autonomously, highly organised, an excellent communicator and marketing/ engagement nous, and possesses a strong passion for corporate social responsibility and philanthropy. You'll play a key role in driving our corporate fundraising and volunteering efforts, helping drive awareness, education and securing the resources to achieve great impact, as well as being the key conduit between our organisation and our charitable partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Charity Relationship Management: Cultivate and steward relationships with our chosen charity partners - ensuring their ongoing engagement and alignment with foundation goals and impact reporting.
  • Strategy & Collaboration: Work closely with the charity partners and our staff and broker committees & working groups and Community presidents to identify fundraising and engagement opportunities that will drive maximum impact
  • Program Development & Implementation: Plan, organize, and execute community engagement programs and events, including workshops, fundraising drives, education campaigns and activations for corporate staff, broker network and Ray White network across AU and NZ.
  • Volunteer Management: Identify opportunities for volunteering and promote/ coordinate employee and broker volunteers for various community initiatives, ensuring a rewarding experience for all involved.
  • Communications & Marketing: Develop and distribute engaging content across various channels, including social media, newsletters, presentations, and impact reports, to effectively promote our community efforts and highlight the value of our work, collaborating with internal marketing, communications, and design teams as needed.
  • Event Coordination: Assist with the planning and execution of corporate engagement events, including volunteer days, conference stands/ engagement opportunities and fundraising drives.
  • Committee/ working groups collaboration: Coordinate and manage staff and broker committees and working groups across AU and NZ, ensuring they are regularly kept up to date, meaningfully engaged and actively collaborating with us to drive great outcomes and ensure you have a ‘coalition of the willing’ to help execute meaningful campaigns and activations
  • Donor management: Identify prospective donors, and foster strategies for engagement and management of current/ prior donors (staff & brokers).
  • Impact Reporting: Track and measure the impact of community engagement activities, preparing reports for internal stakeholders and external partners, utilising our giving platform (Benevity) and partner reporting.
  • Platform management: Be the primary relationship manager and administrator for our giving platform (Benevity) to ensure we are utilising all of its features to align with the foundation goals and to maximise our impact
  • Budget Management: Assist in managing the foundation budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

About You:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in community relations, corporate social responsibility, event coordination, communications or marketing or a similar role, ideally within a corporate environment.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
  • Relationship Builder: Proven ability to build and maintain strong, positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A team player who thrives on working with others and building consensus.
  • Highly Organised: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and pay meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proactive & Resourceful: Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Problem-Solver: Adept at identifying challenges and developing creative, practical solutions.
  • Passion: A genuine passion for the goals of the foundation and a commitment to driving social impact.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in Google suite, and comfortable with social media platforms and digital communication tools.
  • LMG knowledge: Knowledge of how LMG operates, existing channels, systems & operating rhythms and understanding of our network dynamics/ service plans would be a strong advantage
