The Systems Accountant is a specialist role that delivers high quality financial systems conversions to the Ray White Network. In this role, you would ensure accurate data migration, clean system setups, and streamlined processes to support business performance.

Ray White Accounting Solutions (RWAS) is part of the Ray White Group and provides monthly accounting, sales trust accounting, and software solutions to Ray White business owners. Whilst RWAS currently has a hundred clients and twenty staff across the different divisions, the Australian Ray White network consists of over 650 separate businesses. It is this large potential client pool that has and will continue to drive the growth of RWAS over the next decade.

About the role
On a day to day basis, your duties and responsibilities may include: 

• Financial Systems Conversions 
  • Manage and execute full financial systems conversions (Xero, Hubdoc, VaultRE, and Profit Pulse)
  • Perform accurate and complete data migration
  • Set up systems to best practice standards, ready for use by businesses or the RWAS accounting team
• Client Onboarding
  • Support the onboarding of new clients (data clean up, catch-up work, balance sheet reconciliations)
  • Prepare files to a high standard to ensure accurate and clean data for assigned accountant
• Catch-up work
  • Undertake historical accounting work and file clean ups to bring accounts up to date
  • Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy across all financial records
• Team Support and Collaboration
  • Work closely with the RWAS accounting team to provide support where required
  • Collaborate with the Network Finance Team to ensure alignment in processes, system setups, and client handovers
• Training and Process Development
  • Deliver training to agency business owners on financial systems and integrations 
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement and development of the onboarding and system conversion processes to enhance efficiency and scalability

About you
The preferred candidate has: 

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or related field (preferred)
• Experience in financial systems conversions and data migrations (highly regarded)
• Strong knowledge of Xero and related add ons (VaultRE and Hubdoc experience is highly regarded)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work as needed
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic about working in a dynamic, evolving role
• Able to work autonomously and take ownership of assigned duties
